Written in a tiny apartment in the suburbs of LA in 2019, "Ride" narrates a period of social anxiety, speaking to the harsh inner voices that dictate our sense of self and how we think we are perceived in the world, juxtaposed with the precious moments of connection to our inner child that remind us of that carefree and innocent euphoria we all once knew when we were younger. Sparse, crunchy guitar accompanied by clear and emotive vocals evolves into a dark, spiralling heavy outro.
